Who loved the Lord,
Who lived her faith,
Who told everyone she met the truth about Jesus Christ,
Who fought the fight while she lived and
Fought the fight as she died.
This is my friend who rests in Christ
Until that day when He returns for us all
This is my friend who is beautiful and strong,
Who shone like a light in the darkness.
This is my friend who would say, even today – especially today –
Jesus is what it’s all about
God provided a way – one way – out of hell into eternal life
and it is Jesus.
Find Him, know Him, whatever it takes.
This is my friend who lived Jesus on earth,
Who trusted Him with her life,
Who faithfully proclaimed Him through every trial
So that others would see Him in her and
Love Him like she did
And Live – like she will – forever.
This is my friend, who sleeps in Christ today but
One day, she will wake to Him and He will say
“Well done, my good and faithful, daughter. Welcome Home.”
See you in that great getting up morning, Sis.
We’ll miss you until then
You and your smile, your laughter, your voice, your karate, your parties, your encouragement,Your workouts, your exhortations, your love, the love of Jesus shining through you.
See you in the morning, Sis.
His love shines through you even now.

This is beautiful, Lori. I am so sorry for the loss of your good friend. My heart aches for Brett, John, and all the many many people who loved this special woman.
Thank you, Julie. I am just blessed to have known her and learned from her life.
Beautiful tribute to a wonderful friend! My deepest sympathy to you and the family as you mourn her loss and rejoice in her homegoing!
Andrea
My sympathy to all who knew and loved Diane. She is still teaching others – I’ve learned about loving God better by her example through three people today, even though I’d never met her. That is a job well done.
God’s love is not bound by death, it continues to move and to touch those who remain behind. Thank you for sharing that, Jennifer.
Lori–
Thank you for sharing those touching, healing and honest words. Diane was and will always be a one of a kind person. I am deeply saddened by this loss, but know that she and John and Brett are well looked after in their faith, family and friends.
Warmly,
Jess D’Abrosca
Today my heart is sad because a beautiful soul has been taken from us. I am sad for us not for Diane because I know heaven has been patiently waiting to recieve this angel whose life was devoted to god and to making every life she touched better. She deserves the rewards of her purposeful life.
I will miss her greatly.

It’s hard to be apart from those we love for any length of time. I hope that others are inspired to turn to Jesus and to live for Jesus by knowing about how Diane lived. (It’s still hard to say “lived” in the past tense.) She lives now with Jesus in the home prepared for her – I’ll bet it has a hot tub!
This is beautiful. What an inspirational way to share God’s love and the memory of a great friend. She was blessed to have you.
You love your friend and I believe that you’ll see her again one day Lori.

Thank you, Karen, but the blessing was mine. And, indeed, Ms. V, I will see her again.
I just learned of Diane’s passing and was so sadden to hear of her struggle. I googled her name and found this beautiful tribute to her and her love of God. I went to school with Diane and last saw her at our 20th reunion. I send my sincere sympathy to her family and loving friends. Debbie (Redmond) Sanspree
I’m sorry for your sadness,Deb. You aren’t alone in it even now. We all miss Diane but her light continues to shine even though now she is gone from our sight for a time. God bless you!
