The shelves are empty in the stores.
Water.
Bread.
Batteries.
God is not subtle about these things.
What we stockpile to prepare for disaster is that which we need to sustain life.
Water.
Bread.
Batteries.
God is not subtle in His messages and like the father of a missing child He never leaves off calling and searching for His sheep.
Water.
Bread.
Batteries.
God reminds us through our own actions, through the simple act of shopping and preparing for the storm, that He is what we need.
Living Water.
The Bread of Life.
The Light of the World.
Jesus.
Every day. To sustain our lives, our true lives, our inner lives, our spiritual lives, our eternal lives, the lives that spring from our deepest hearts – we need Jesus.
Every day.
Without the Living Water, the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, Jesus, without Him, we are physical shells, spiritual zombies, the walking dead.
God is not subtle when He is calling out to those in danger of losing their lives – a superstorm, a Frankenstorm, on our doorsteps crying “Trick or Treat”
Water.
Bread.
Batteries.
Jesus.
Don’t miss His voice as it rides on the wind. The water and bread and batteries that you purchased at Food Mart will not last forever and they may sustain your body but they will not feed your soul.
You’re not fully prepared for the Coming Storm without the source that never diminishes, never fades, never fails, and will
quench the thirst of your arid heart
satisfy the hunger of your famished soul
light the way of your weary mind
until you find complete shelter in the power and the name and the heart of Jesus.
Are you ready?
“The Lord wraps himself in light as with a garment;
he stretches out the heavens like a tent
and lays the beams of his upper chambers on their waters.
He makes the clouds his chariot
and rides on the wings of the wind.
He makes winds his messengers,
flames of fire his servants.” Psalm 104:2-4

What I need, ALL I need, He Was, Is, Will Be!
This is so beautiful Lori. When we lose all, we are still with Him, the One Thing that we require!
Amen, amen, amen!
Good word!
